HOW TO PLAY
The number of cows equals the number of rows. Combine row, column, color and adjacency clues to find their only possible arrangement.
Placing a cow rules out every other cell in its row, column and color region.
Cells next to each other horizontally, vertically or diagonally cannot both contain cows.
Mark excluded cells with a cross, and double-tap to place a cow. Reasoning hints are available when you need help.
PRIVACY POLICY
Effective September 17, 2026
MooGrid is developed and maintained by Jianxi Yang. The app requires no account and does not transmit names, contact details, location, device identifiers, game progress or usage records to the developer. It contains no advertising, in-app purchases, analytics, tracking or other third-party SDKs.
Board generation, solution validation and gameplay happen on your device. Current progress and settings are kept in the app’s local storage. MooGrid has no game server or developer-operated cloud sync and does not initiate network requests.
If you enable iCloud or computer backups, local app data may be included and restored with your device. Backups are managed through your system settings and Apple services; the developer cannot access them. Apple’s system diagnostics are also governed by Apple and your system sharing settings.
Deleting the app removes its local data from the device. Offloading an app keeps its documents and data, so it is different from deleting it. Existing backups must be managed separately in iCloud or computer backup settings. MooGrid does not request sensitive permissions such as camera, Photos, location or contacts access.
When you email haojianxi@hotmail.com, you share your email address and any message or attachments you choose through your email service. We use this information only to respond to, investigate and handle your support request. Email is processed and stored by email providers. Please do not send passwords or unrelated sensitive information. You may request deletion of your support emails at the same address.
Cloudflare hosts this support and privacy website. When you visit, Cloudflare processes connection information needed to deliver and protect the website and processes page views and device or browser information through website analytics. This website processing does not occur inside the MooGrid app. The website stores your language preference locally in your browser. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for details.
The MooGrid app does not collect personal data and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If our data practices change, we will update this page, its effective date and the relevant App Store privacy disclosures. For privacy questions, contact the support email below.

No. Boards are generated and progress is saved on your device, so you can play offline without an account. The game is free, with no ads or in-app purchases. Visiting this website or sending a support email does use the relevant network services.
A row or column can contain at most one cow. Because the board is square and the number of cows equals the number of rows, a completed puzzle has exactly one cow in every row and column, and in every color region.
Tap a cell to mark a cross; double-tap the same cell to place a cow. You do not need to switch between placement and exclusion modes.
MooGrid has no account or cloud sync of its own. Restoring an iOS backup that includes the app’s data may restore your progress, depending on what the backup contains.
MooGrid supports Simplified Chinese and English. It follows the device language by default and uses English when the device language is not supported.
